We were pleased to organize the Andalucia Society Oman birdwatching adventure across the Sultanate. This unique expedition brought together bird enthusiasts from Spain & UK to explore Oman’s diverse landscapes, rich avian biodiversity, and stunning natural beauty.

Our specialist customized the adventure considering the required accommodation, transportation, species and birding methods. A long list of equipment was provided to our guests, including: high definition scopes, camouflages, beam touches, 8pax hypalon boat, stargazing telescope, identification indexes ..etc
This 14-day birding adventure coverd some of the best birding hotspots in the country, offering opportunities to spot resident species, winter visitors, and rare migrants.
In this adventure we covered more than 3600KM of travel including 600KM on graded roads and sand tracks. We covered the most iconic region of Oman, from Muscat royal grandeur to the monsoon-swept hills of Salalah and the Martian landscapes of the Empty Quarter.

During this adventure, we come across many lifers such as the Arabian Bubbler, Arabian Lark, Arabian Partridge, Sand Partridge, Wilson’s Storm Petrel, Brown Noddy, Desert Lark, Slender-Billed Curlew, Indian Sivler Bill, oriental white eye, Yemen Serin, Grey Francolin, Baillon Crake, Broad-Billed Sandpipers, Crab Plover in addition to Shrikes, Sunbirds, Warblers & Raptors.
We explored the Sultanate’s wildlife including the Arabian gazelles, sand gazelles, Arabian oryx, sand fox, wild cat, Arabian wolf, Arabian chameleon, dolphins, green turtles and loggerhead turtles, Arabian Copra. We also spotted an endangered Arabian Sea humpback whale dead on a pristine beach. In addition to many butterflies and dragonflies.
