While most of our itineraries are designed for mature travelers, we welcome families and kindly ask that you inform our consultants if children under eighteen will be joining your trip. While Panorama Travel does not directly provide travel insurance, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive coverage. This should include medical insurance covering treatment and emergency evacuation, as well as trip cancellation and interruption insurance to protect against unforeseen events that may affect your journey. Insurance requirements may vary depending on your country of residence, as coverage in Oman may differ from your home country’s standards. Our travel consultants are happy to advise you on suitable options and assist you in securing the right policy for your trip.
Yes, Panorama Travel can arrange both domestic and international flights as part of your travel package. Unless otherwise specified, airfare is not included in the package price. Our team will be happy to assist with your flight bookings, including early arrivals or extended stays. Please note that any modifications to flight schedules are subject to airline terms, conditions, and availability.
Before your departure, you will receive detailed pre-departure materials to help you prepare for your journey, including health guidelines and visa information. For travelers whose nationalities are not eligible, Panorama Travel will arrange the necessary visa in advance on your behalf.
Medical service availability varies by destination. In remote areas where we operate, government and private hospitals or clinics are typically within 1.5 hours, while in towns and cities, they are usually just minutes away. Most 4- and 5-star hotels also provide access to on-call doctors or nurses. Please note that charges for medical services vary by country and provider. We recommend that all travelers have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, as out-of-pocket costs may apply. Our staff are professionally trained in first aid and emergency response, with extensive experience in managing health-related situations. A detailed emergency plan will be included in your itinerary for your safety and peace of mind.

As a rule of thumb, a tour becomes a DEFINITE departure once we have sold the minimum capacity of a specific departure..

Our trips feature a wide variety of activities tailored to your itinerary and interests. These may include hiking, cycling, camel and horse riding, kayaking, golfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, dolphin and whale watching, green turtle observation, wildlife tracking, birding tours, camping, stargazing, dune driving, opera performances, traditional folklore music, private concerts, cultural war dances, yoga sessions, and visits to museums, nature reserves, and historic forts, among others. All listed activities are included in the trip cost unless otherwise specified. Detailed information about what’s covered can be found in the “Inclusions and Exclusions” section of each program. Any necessary dress codes or gear recommendations will also be provided in your pre-departure materials.

All Panorama Travel Trips are small group tours, with a maximum of 12 guests. In such a small group, you’ll receive more personal attention from your Travel Concierge, and you’ll benefit from access and experiences not available to larger groups.

On a Panorama Travel trip, we take care of all luggage handling for you. Upon arrival at your hotel, your suitcase will be delivered directly to your room. When you depart, a porter will call your room to collect your luggage and transport it down to the coach—so you never need to move your suitcase out of your room.
Your Travel Concierge is the epitome of five-star service. Their purpose is to discern your tastes and preferences, then orchestrate personalized details that ensure your tour reflects your individuality. With native fluency in local languages and an intimate understanding of each destination, your Travel Concierge is more than a guide—they are the ultimate traveling companion, enriching your journey with depth, authenticity, and lasting insight.
We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our business. To limit single-use plastics on our tours, we proudly provide each Panorama Travel guest with a reusable water bottle. Additionally, we use sustainable and reusable materials whenever possible during touring activities, including picnic items. We enable paper-free travel by delivering all tour documentation electronically through the Panorama Travel portal. We also donate 1 OMR per traveler to the Oman Environmental Society. Your Travel Concierge is more than a guide—they are a wealth of knowledge and support, enriching your journey every step of the way. They will reveal the wonders you have always dreamed of and introduce you to unexpected delights. To enhance communication, many of our Travel Concierges use WhatsApp Communities as an additional tool to share real-time updates, meeting points, photos, and more with guests. If your Travel Concierge uses WhatsApp, you will be added to your tour’s Community upon arrival. This provides a convenient way to receive updates, reminders, and visual highlights directly to your device. For a seamless experience, we recommend downloading and setting up WhatsApp before your departure. Simply visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device and search for WhatsApp. If you do not use WhatsApp, rest assured that your Travel Concierge will keep you well-informed through other means, including in-person communication throughout your tour.
On Coach & 4WD Complimentary Wi-Fi is generally available on our coaches. Operating via 3G mobile networks, the connection may be slower than standard broadband and at times may not be available. It is suitable for checking emails, browsing the web, and updating social media accounts, but less ideal for streaming video or uploading large photos. At Your Accommodation Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in many guestrooms and/or public areas of most hotels. Occasionally, an access code may be required, which hotel staff can provide. Your Travel Concierge will share the relevant details upon check-in at each hotel.

You don’t have to do a thing. As soon as you get back from your first tour, you’ll automatically be enrolled onto our program and will receive an email confirming all the details.

As a member of Panorama Travel Club , you’ll receive emails and/or letters with exclusive information about our upcoming tours and offers.
Throughout the year, we organize a mix of in-person and virtual events. Once dates are confirmed, invitations and details will be sent directly to you by email or letter.
It doesn’t matter how long ago you toured with us, if you’ve taken any Panorama Travel tours in the past you’ll be enrolled as a member of the new program.
One week after your travels, you will receive an email from us inviting you to share your feedback, experiences, and photographs.
