The History Hall showcases key eras in Oman’s rich past, starting with the geological formation of the land. It then explores the Stone Age through an exhibit on the first settlers. The Bronze Age is represented by the Majan Civilization, and the Iron Age by the Kingdom of Oman. The hall also includes sections on the introduction of Islam, the Ya’ruba State, and the Al Busaid State. Together, these exhibits offer visitors a clear and engaging journey through the milestones that shaped the nation’s identity.
Oman Across Ages Museum
The Renaissance Hall is designed as an open and immersive space, centered around a striking cluster of majestic columns. These columns create an interactive environment for a high-resolution audiovisual display that showcases the first five years of the Blessed Renaissance. This panoramic experience forms the heart of the museum and marks the culmination of each visitor’s journey. The hall highlights the Sultanate of Oman’s impressive strides in development, prosperity, and transformation—socially, economically, industrially, and politically—while honoring its rich cultural heritage and timeless traditions.
