Oman–Spain Business Trip: A dynamic journey of collaboration, connecting Oman’s tourism vision with Spain’s industry expertise to foster growth, innovation, and international partnership.
Our first morning in Madrid was truly unforgettable. From my room at the Riu Plaza España, I was greeted with a stunning view of the Royal Palace of Madrid. The hotel’s elevated location, higher than many surrounding buildings, offered panoramic vistas of the capital and easy access to charming walking routes, which we explored late into the night. Madrid after dark was vibrant and alive—a perfect start to our journey.
Expand network, gain insights & explore new markets on a transformative business journey to Spain.
Our itinerary began with three days in Madrid and an insightful visit to the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid. The session included informative presentations about Spain’s tourism industry, advertising strategies, and forward-looking plans. We followed this with engaging B2B meetings with tourism professionals and business owners from across Madrid, establishing meaningful connections for future collaboration.

I’ve always admired Spain’s pioneering work in heritage tourism. The country’s success in repurposing historic buildings—transforming castles, palaces, and old neighborhoods into hotels, restaurants, galleries, and museums—is inspiring. This approach perfectly aligns with our mission at Panorama Travel. We believe Oman can benefit greatly from a similar model, utilizing over 500 forts and castles, along with ancient village quarters, to empower local communities, preserve heritage, create jobs, and generate sustainable income. As a responsible travel company, this value is at the heart of our work.
Unlock new opportunities — where connections and commerce meet!
During our stay in Madrid, we dedicated a full day to exploring the city’s highlights, including a special visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the iconic home of Real Madrid. As a lifelong fan, it was a thrill to tour the museum and shop for souvenirs to bring back to fellow fans at home. That evening, we took to the streets on foot once more and wrapped up our adventure-filled day with a traditional flamenco dinner—an authentic taste of Spanish culture.

Explore vibrant markets and build valuable partnerships.
Before leaving Madrid, we had the honor of meeting with the Omani Ambassador to Spain. Our journey then continued to Valencia, where we spent two days in productive B2B sessions with local travel agents. From there, we traveled to Malaga, where Panorama Travel arranged a relaxing stay at the Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena, a beautiful resort overlooking the Mediterranean’s azure waters. This tranquil setting provided a perfect balance of business and leisure, with productive meetings in the morning and leisurely afternoons at the beach and evenings discovering the town’s charm.
It was truly wonderful to return to Spain. We’re deeply grateful to the Oman Chamber of Commerce for their continued trust in Panorama Travel to organize and manage these delegations.
We’re incredibly excited to begin our work with the Spanish market, starting with this delegation, and look forward to introducing Oman as a holiday destination to Spain’s travel industry.
