The Mosque was completed in 2009 and stands out as a landmark on the 23rd of July Street, Central Salalah.

On the beachfront, right next to Al Husn Palace is the marvelous Al Husn Souk (also known as Al Haffa Souq).

Al Husn Palace is a symbol of the history of the Sultanate of Oman and testifies to the birth of the founder of the Omani revolution, Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur.

0300 PM DISCOVER AL BALEED ARCHEOLOGICAL UNESCO SITE
Al-Baleed Al-Baleed, ancient Dhofar, represents a unique urban city in Governorate Dhofar. Located on the edge of the Indian Ocean, the site was fed by fresh water from a series of lagoons permitting large-scale urban expansion by 900 AD. The city gained revenue not only by international maritime trade but by conducting and sponsoring overland caravan trade across the Empty Quarter. The decline of the city was brought about by both external forces as well as perhaps unusual weather conditions in the 16th century.
