9. Weather Regulations
- We continuously monitor weather conditions, and your travel agent will keep you informed.
- In the unlikely event of a cyclone or similar natural disaster, our Force Majeure policy applies.
- We monitor all weather conditions closely to ensure the safety of all travelers.
9. 10. Please use the following scale to assess your physical fitness and comfort level.
- 9-10 (Extreme): Excellent cardiovascular conditioning, strength, and endurance are possessed. Full-day treks with significant elevation gain, carrying personal gear, and handling demanding, exposed terrain are accommodated without issue. Demanding sports or training are regularly participated in.
- 0-2 (Very Low): Completely flat, paved surfaces with no stairs are preferred. Significant mobility restrictions are experienced, or fatigue is easily caused by short walks.
- 3-4 (Low/Moderate): Gentle slopes and occasional stairs can be managed at a slow pace. Walking on uneven ground such as a gravel path for up to 30 minutes can be managed, but frequent breaks are needed.
- 5-6 (Moderate): An average fitness level is possessed. Walking for 1-2 hours on varied terrain (dirt trails, hills, city streets) and climbing several flights of stairs can be done without being overly taxed. Light physical activity is occasionally participated in.
- 7-8 (High): Physical activity and fitness are maintained. Hiking for 3+ hours on steep, rocky, or unstable trails can be confidently done, often in challenging weather (heat, humidity). Good balance and stamina are possessed, and recovery is quick. Cardiovascular exercise (e.g., hiking, running, cycling) is regularly engaged in.
