The Grand Tour of the Sultanate of Oman is a 15-day 4×4 adventure in Oman. This adventure can be booked PRIVATE or for a group up to 16 Pax. Located at the southeastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula,  the Sultanate of Oman is the home of the legendary Sindbad the sailor, one of Arabia’s best-kept secrets, idyllic land where majestic mountains dramatically descend towards the world’s largest sand ocean the Empty Quarter ’Rub’a Al Khali’ and large oases surround medieval fortified towns and castles.

You will discover the architectural treasures – from Bronze Age burial sites and historic forts to the glittering, contemporary Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Royal Opera House and you will encounter it in the cities, where sellers of silver, frankincense, and spices ply their trade-in labyrinthine Souqs.

You will be refreshed with pristine beaches, rugged mountains will engage you, and you will be inspired by the sultanate history that spans over 7,000.

You will love the searing sands and striking gorges. The Hajar and Dhofar ranges, the rolling dunes of Al Sharqiya Sands, our lush wadis, and the vast, open landscapes.

The colorful and immaculately dressed people are immensely courteous in welcoming visitors to the land of majesty and mystery. 

Physical Endurance 

• Many sites are accessed by climbing slopes or steps. All Panorama Travels programs require participants to have a reasonable degree of fitness, enabling 2-3 hours of walking a day. • This adventure is available to be booked by individuals or groups at any time you wish.
• This adventure is available to be booked on both options: guided or self-drive.
• 14 days is the minimum to book before departure. 
• 2 people are the minimum number of people to book this Oman adventure.
• Visiting sites where you will encounter steps (eg. at forts), cobbled streets (mountain villages), rocky and uneven ground, slopes, and steep walks.
• Transportation in 4WD includes a long-distance journey along winding mountain roads, graded roads, and coastal roads.
• We charge per person based on how many persons are on the tour. If you have a larger number of people or if you require any customization, Kindly, contact us.

1. We require a down payment to reserve The Grand Tour of the Sultanate of Oman.
2. Force Majeure applies.
3. If we are unable to provide the required services. We will refund you in full.
4. Cancellation fees: If you decide to cancel your booking the following charges apply:

• If cancellation by you more than 14 days before arrival we will refund 100% of the net program cost.
• Cancellation by you 10–14 days before arrival we will refund 90% of the net program cost.
• Cancellation by you 7–10 days before arrival we will refund 50% of the net program cost.
• Cancellation by you less than 7 days before arrival. Will make no refund.
