The Empty Quarter Trip Dhofar is a 7-day Oman Adventure in the Arabain sands of Dhofar, the southern province of the Sultanate of Oman. This trip can be booked as a PRIVATE tour or for a group up to 16 Pax. In this adventure, We will explore the magical Dhofar. We will discover ‘the land of frankincense’ UNESCO sites dating back to 3,000 BC. We will go on a 4×4 desert safari tour to explore the world’s largest continuous sandy ocean (Ruba’a Al Khali – The Empty Quarter) following the footsteps of explorer Wilfred Thesiger in the late 1950s.

Physical Endurance – Arabian Sands Adventure

• Many sites are accessed by climbing slopes or steps. All Panorama Travel programs require that participants have a reasonable degree of fitness enabling 2-3 hours of walking a day. However, if you have any doubts about your ability to manage a program, please ask our travel counselor whether the Oman geology trip suits you.

Practical Information & Considerations 

• Visit sites where you encounter steps, cobbled streets, and uneven ground.
• 7-days before departure is the deadline to book this private Oman holiday.
• 1-person is the minimum number to book this 7-day tour.
• Comfortable, conservative clothing, good grip footwear, a small backpack, a cap, and sunscreen are suggested.
• We charge per person based on how many persons are on the Empty Quarter trip. If you have a large number of people or if you require any customization, kindly, contact us with the details.
• This tour starts and ends at Salalah International Airport.
• 1 – Night overnight in the authentic Arabain sands.

Terms and Conditions – The Empty Quarter Trip

• We require a down payment to reserve The Empty Quarter Trip following the footsteps of Wilfred Thesiger.
• Cancellation fees: If you decide to cancel your booking the following charges apply:

1. If cancellation by you more than 14 days before arrival we will refund 100% of the net program cost.
2. Cancellation by you 10–14 days before arrival, we will refund 90% of the net program cost.
3. Cancellation by you 5–10 days before arrival, we will refund 50% of the net program cost.
4. Cancellation by you less than 5 days before arrival or no show, we will make no refund.
