The Jabal Akhdar overnight tour is a two-day PRIVATE adventure to explore AL Jabal AL Akhdar, & Jabal Shams. In this adventure, we wander through time in Oman’s ancient capital. Walk above the clouds at 2,000 meters above sea level, exploring the ancient agricultural terraces. Hike along with the ‘The Balcony’ of the Grand Canyon of Oman in the most dramatic scenery anywhere in the Sultanate.

Practical Information & Considerations

• This is a PRIVATE trip; you can book it on any date.
• 5 days before departure is the deadline to book the Jabal Akhdar overnight tour.
• 1 pax is the minimum, and 6 pax is the maximum number to book this trip.
• You will receive pre-departure materials prior to departure, which include information on how to prepare for the overnight trip.
• Visiting sites where you will encounter steps, cobbled streets (mountain villages), rocky and uneven ground slopes, and steep walks.
• 1.5-Hour mountain hiking on day-1 and 3-hours on day-2
• 4WD drive transportation includes a long journey along winding mountain roads, coastal roads, graded roads, and sandy trail roads.
• 1-night is spent at Al Jabal Al Akhdar.
• We will meet you at your hotel or any location in Muscat. Please advise us if you wish us to book your entire Oman holiday with us, including your flight, hotel booking, and airport transfers.

Physical Endurance

• Many sites are accessed by climbing slopes or steps. All Panorama Travels programs require participants to have a reasonable degree of fitness, enabling 2-3 hours of walking daily. However, if you have doubts about your ability to manage a program, please ask our travel counselor whether the Jabal Akhdar overnight tour suits you.

3. If you decide to cancel your booking, the following charges apply:

• 2-5 full days before the tour – 50% refund
• Less than 2 full days or no show – 0% refund
