Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, has signed a sponsorship agreement with Chelsea Football Club. Oman Air will be granted the status of a global airline partner of Chelsea FC for three years.

Oman Air flies to more than 50 destinations worldwide, including daily flights from Muscat to London, and has a global footprint aligned with Chelsea’s long-range fan base. As part of the launch ceremony and to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, Oman Air and Chelsea worked together to design a co-branded aircraft, which will appear as part of its fleet on October 2023.

Oman Air has a proven track record in sports sponsorship. In addition to the ongoing partnership with the Oman Football Association spanning over a decade, the company also supports Oman Sail, Oman Golf Association, Oman Desert Marathon, Oman Paralympic Team, and others.

As a key player in Oman’s tourism strategy, Oman Air continues to explore opportunities to promote Oman as a preferred tourist destination worldwide.

Chelsea Football Club was founded in 1905 in West London, and they play their home matches at Stamford Bridge. The club competes in the English Premier League, the first division of English football. Chelsea is one of the top-rated clubs in the Premier League, considered the most followed and most popular football league globally, with a seasonal audience of over 3 billion.
