Overview

The Golden Voyage of Sindbad is a 12-day cultural adventure to discover the home of the legendary Sindbad the sailor. This trip can be booked as a PRIVATE trip for a group up to 16 Pax. Panorama Travel guides lead this adventure to the Sultanate of Oman, one of Arabia’s best-kept secrets, an idyllic land where majestic mountains dramatically descend towards the world’s largest sand ocean and large oases surround medieval fortified towns and castles. The colorful and immaculately dressed people are immensely courteous in welcoming visitors to the land of majesty and mystery. 

 

 

Physical Endurance

  • Many sites are accessed by climbing slopes or steps. All Panorama Travel programs require that participants have a reasonable degree of fitness enabling 2-3 hours of walking a day. However, if you have any doubts about your ability to manage a program, please ask our travel counselor whether the Oman geology trip suits you.

 

 

Practical Information & Considerations 

  • Visit sites where you encounter steps, cobbled streets, and uneven ground.
  • 14 days before departure is the deadline to book this Oman holiday.
  • 4-person is the minimum number to book this 12-day tour.
  • Comfortable, conservative clothing, good grip footwear, a small backpack, a cap, and sunscreen are suggested.
  • Transportation in 4WD includes a long-distance journey along winding mountain roads, graded roads, and coastal roads.
  • We charge per person based on how many persons are on the Golden Voyage of Sindbad the sailor. If you have a larger number of people or require any customization, kindly, contact us with details.
  • 6 accommodation changes.

 

Terms and Conditions – The Golden Voyage of Sindbad

  • We require a down payment to reserve the Golden Voyage of Sindbad.
  • Cancellation fees: If you decide to cancel your booking the following charges apply:
  1. If cancellation by you more than 14 days before arrival we will refund 100% of the net program cost.
  2. Cancellation by you 10–14 days before arrival we will refund 90% of the net program cost.
  3. Cancellation by you 7–10 days before arrival we will refund 50% of the net program cost.
  4. Cancellation by you less than 7 days before arrival. Will make no refund.
  • If we are unable to provide the required services. We will refund you in full.
  • Force Majeure applies.

  • Visit the extraordinary beehive tombs of Bat, a UNESCO heritage site, the best-preserved Bronze Age settlement in the Middle East.
  • Enjoy a diverse range of dramatic landscapes including the deep-green wadis and ‘Grand Canyon’ of the Western Hajar Mountains, the pristine white sandy beaches, and the monumental desert dunes at the Wahiba Sands, where we overnight under the stars.
  • Enjoy turtle-watching at one of the world's largest nesting sites for endangered green sea turtles.

A BRILLIANT IMMERSION INTO THE ARABIAN CULTURE

The trip of a lifetime thanks to Panorama Travel and their amazing travel consultant, Reem. Reem, thank you the personalized, detail-oriented door to door service from hotel category to seat selections airplanes until the end of our trip. Every thing was excellent, accommodations, flights, ground transportation and daily itineraries. The tour guides took care of all the details in each location such as entrance tickets, meals and hotel check-ins and outs. WERE DELIGHTED WITH THE RESULTS, THE PROFESSIONALISM, HONESTY, TRUSTWORTHINESS, AND RELIABILITY

My wife and I considered several tour operators for a personalized tour of Oman in 2018. By chance, we happened on the Panorama Travel site. Reading some reviews removed any initial skepticism. WE HAD AN AMAZING TOUR

Badar, Mousa and Mohammed. All of the guides were great, friendly and fun to be with. The knows so much about Oman culture and history. They knows when and how to get the best photos! Badar was very knowledgeable about the history, religion and geography of the area. Mousa and Mohammed have a passion for their home and shares all of the stories of their families and growing up in the area. Every thing was well planned and guides arranged every detail from ground and air transport, hotels, meals, activities and always looked out for our needs. The hotels were located perfectly in the center of the cities to take advantage of the sites or in a rural area to take advantage of the natural beauty of the place. The Hajar Mountain was especially stunning! We would highly recommend Panorama Travel. Ask for these guides by name because they are really great! Through out the tour Reem would keep in touch, see how the tour was going and to update us on any changes that needed to be made. Oman Tour 2019 - Panorama Travel. Fatima from Panorama Travel was fantastic. Fatima was so professional and efficient in getting our tour orgnized. She made everything so easy for us.
