Panorama Travel guides led this 14-day Oman wildlife and nature trip in the wildness of the Sultanate. This adventure can be booked as a PRIVATE tour or a group up to 16 Pax. In this adventure, we explore the capital of Oman, Muscat. We will discover the vast desert, explore the charming wadis, visit unique environmental conservation projects and programs of Oman, birding in some of the epic sites, watch the endangered green turtles nesting, meet the Arabian Oryx, explore the Arabain Sea Whales, and track the Arabian Leopard.

 

 

Physical Endurance – OMAN WILDLIFE & NATURE TRIP

  • Steps or climbing slopes can access many sites in Oman. All Panorama Travels programs require participants to have a reasonable degree of fitness, enabling 2-3 hours of walking daily. However, if you have doubts about your ability to manage a program, please ask our travel counselor whether the Wild Journey to The Heart adventure of Oman suits you.

 

 

Practical Information & Considerations 

  • 14 days is the minimum to book before departure. 
  • 4 people is the minimum number of people to run this Oman wildlife and nature trip.
  • Visit sites where you will encounter steps (e.g., at forts), cobbled streets (mountain villages), rocky and uneven ground, slopes, and steep walks.
  • Transportation in 4WD includes a long-distance journey along winding mountain roads, graded roads, and coastal roads.
  • We charge per person based on the number of people on the tour. If you have more people or require any customization for your Oman holiday, please get in touch with us with details.

 

 

Terms and Conditions – WILD JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF OMAN

  1. We require a down payment to reserve the Oman wildlife and nature trip
  2. If we cannot provide the required services, we will refund you in full using the method you used to make the payment.
  3. Force Majeure applies.
  4. Cancellation fees: If you decide to cancel your booking, the following charges apply:
  • If cancellation by you more than 14 days before arrival, we will refund 100% of the net program cost.
  • Cancellation by you 10–14 days before arrival, we will refund 90% of the net program cost.
  • Cancellation by you 7–10 days before arrival, we will refund 50% of the net program cost.
  • Cancellation by you less than 7 days before arrival. Will make no refund.

  • Explore Muscat, with its lively Muttrah Souq and the state-of-the-art National Museum displaying an extensive collection of cultural treasures.
  • View the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, with six minarets presenting the five beliefs of Islamic art, and attend a performance at Muscat’s Royal Opera House.
  • Investigate the medieval port of Sur with its shipbuilding yard, where skilled craftsmen continue to build the traditional dhows and fishing boats, and explore the maritime museum in Sur and some of the great preserved traditional dhows.

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC ADVENTURE Reem, Badar & Ahmed, Thank you so very much. This was a fantastic adventure. As you'd expect, the scenery was fabulous, but the experience was further enhanced by our exceptional guides, who were perfect in enthusiasm, knowledge, and ability. Their enthusiasm was evident as he continued to add to our group’s running list of “must-see” flora and fauna. The entire trip was very informative and exciting. All the sites were good, especially the coast, the central desert, and the Empty Quarter. I loved the hikes, wildlife tracking, and the snorkeling around the remote islands. MY FAMILY AND I HAD A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE

Hi Fatima, Thanks to all of your team. My family and I had a fantastic experience with your fabulous team (Ream, Badar & Khalid). Khalid was enthusiastic the moment we first met and throughout the entire trip. This small group tour was AMAZING!! It was an expensive trip but the wildlife sightings were fantastic. My target species were Arabian Oryx and Red fox and we ticked both of those boxes. From our arrival to the end of the trip we were so well looked after, it would be difficult to find a fault. I know we were exceptionally lucky but even if we hadn’t seen all this fantastic wildlife, the scenery and landscape are stunning! We wish that the Botanic Garden was completed.
