We will investigate & touch the (Moho) the contact between the top of the mantle and the base of the oceanic crust is the most important of all the Earth's internal boundaries.

EXPLORE 600My GEOLOGICAL TIME

We will explore valleys that offer a journey through Supersequence A of geological time: from the mouth of the wadi where Cretaceous rocks are exposed (90 Ma) to the Late Proterozoic rocks at the end (more than 600Ma).

THE TOURS WAS CAREFULLY PLANNED AND BEAUTIFULLY CARRIED OUT

Thank you for the two brilliant geology day tours, the tours were carefully planned and beautifully carried out. We learned about continental collisions, mountain-building, erosion, the opening and closing of oceans, rock formations, folds and faults, great extinction, and more! The guides were excellent teachers and shared their deep knowledge of the Sultanat's geoheritage and culture. The explanation of the 4,800 million years of the formation of the earth into 1 year and how the events occurred from the atmosphere formation to the occurrence of humans was so interesting. The picnics at the top of the MOHO & the ancient ocean floor were planned very well. We had a lot of fun! This was my first Panorama Travel Geo trip, and I look forward to joining the longer trip.
